The Cannavist Magazine

Careers at The Cannavist

In January 2019, The CANNAVIST became the first ever cannabis-based publication available to the British and Irish consumer and trade markets.

In August 2021, The CANNAVIST underwent its ‘Turning a New Leaf in Health and Wellbeing’ relaunch.
The new-look CANNAVIST focuses on the five pillars of wellness: Mind, Body, Nutrition, Relationships and cannabis-powered wellbeing. We believe that each work together to create a foundation for wellness.

This formula allows us to explore beyond cannabis – while staying true to the incredible plant that started it all – and help contribute to the betterment of lives through the beneficial properties of CBD, medicinal cannabis and much more.

Available in WHSmith and McColl’s stores and on Readly and PressReader, The CANNAVIST is a cannabis-powered publication with a reach well beyond its competitors’.

Why join the CANNAVIST team?

At The CANNAVIST, we work with each other in mind. Every department interlinks with the others, in a fast-growing, ever-changing environment. We like to think we have the best team in the business with new opportunities around every corner.

If you are a hard-working professional looking for a role in a budding and exciting industry, apply for one of our vacancies.

We want individuals who are as excited as we are about helping others improve their lives while, at the same time, forging a career and enjoying all the benefits that come with it. We are always on the lookout for passionate and talented people to join the team – people who share our vision, who can make a difference and who want to be part of something big.

At The CANNAVIST, you won’t just have a job. You’ll have a career.

Ever dreamed of travelling the world and getting paid for it.

At Orange Fox Media we have a clear and simple goal…to make lives better through the life-saving technology of vaping and the beneficial properties of CBD and medicinal cannabis.

We produce world-leading media products (both printed and online) and are looking for the right people to join our team.

We want individuals who are as excited as we are about helping others improve their lives while, at the same time, forging a career and enjoying all the benefits that come with it.

Our flagship product, the multi-award winning Vapouround Magazine, is the world leader in its field and its sister publication, The Cannavist, is paving the way as a source of information regarding the benefits of CBD and medicinal cannabis for a global audience.

We currently have openings for talented and confident self-starters and want to recruit sales specialists who are as comfortable pitching on the phone to a potential new client as they are managing the accounts of existing clients.

We want people who will thrive in the high-pressure environment of an office-based sales room and who are equally able to attend trade events and expos all over the world…often at very short notice.

You will be equally at ease working in Derby or Dubai and have the inter-personal skills needed to talk with clients across the globe.

This type of work is not for everyone, but for the right individuals the opportunities available are second-to-none. You will thrive in a high-pressure environment and get a thrill from knowing that you are introducing new clients to our publications in these exciting industries.

No prior experience in the worlds of vape or CBD is required, (although it would certainly be an advantage), but an ability to connect with and gain the confidence of people from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds is a must.

We want people who can hold a conversation, but most importantly, know when to stop talking and listen to really understand what our clients need and how we can meet those needs.

We want people who are just as professional and enthusiastic on their first call of the day as they are on the hundredth call. Equally, you will be as bubbly approaching the last client at the end of a three-day international expo as you were when the doors opened on day one (although certainly a lot more tired.)
